Todd M. Sheehan, Esq has extensive experience handling workers’ compensation claims including Labor Code Section 132(a) and serious and willful misconduct claims from discovery through Trial and the appellate process. Mr. Sheehan has a particular interest in the litigation associated with the medical cost of a workers’ compensation claim. Mr. Sheehan has successfully litigated Labor Code Section 139.3 issues before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. He takes great pride in preventing medical facilities profiting through self referrals and the continuous, unnecessary treatment of injured workers.

In 2002, Siegel, Moreno & Stettler expanded their practice to assist clients in the Inland Empire area and has opened an office in Riverside, California. Siegel, Moreno & Stettler has named Mr. Sheehan as the managing partner of that office. Mr. Sheehan now specializes in cases venued in the Riverside, San Bernardino and Pomona Workers’ Compensation Appeals Boards. As a result, Mr. Sheehan has gained valuable experience and knowledge of the medical professionals in these areas including primary treating physicians, qualified medical examiners and agreed medical examiners.

 

Biography

 

Mr. Sheehan received his Juris Doctorate from Western Sierra Law School in 1995. During law school, Mr. Sheehan worked with the State of California Department of Corporations. There he gained valuable experience both in corporate law and structure. Upon graduation, he started with the Law Offices of Siegel, Moreno & Stettler. He has handled personal injury and business litigation cases. Mr. Sheehan now devotes almost the entirety of his practice to defense of workers’ compensation cases.
